Dr. Jagatjit Dhillon
Hello, my name is Dr. Jagatjit Dhillon. I’m a General Dentist and co-owner of Beacon Smiles Dental. nI grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and received my D.M.D. in 2002 from the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. While I enjoy all facets of General Dentistry, my main area of interest is Orthodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dental Sleep Medicine (Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Snoring). I am passionate about my work and I strive to further improve myself every day. Continuing Education is a cornerstone of not only myself but of my whole team. Continuously learning about the latest techniques, technology and treatment options is something I feel that not only our patients deserve, but we as a team find exciting.
Dr. Jeff Bullock, D.M.D.
Hi, my name is Dr. Jeff Bullock. I’ve been part of the Beacon Smiles Dental team since July of 2012. Growing up in Lethbridge, Alberta, I was able to observe my Father practice dentistry for many years. I attended Brigham Young University for my Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. I then attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Florida and obtained a D.M.D. degree. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and treating patients both young and old. I have a particular interest in Cerec technology (same day crowns and bridges) and sedation dentistry. Patient comfort is my number one priority. Advancing my knowledge by continually learning new techniques that benefit my patients gives me great satisfaction.
Dr. Amrita Sandhu-Gill, D.M.D
Hi! My name is Dr. Amrita Sandhu-Gill and I am a general dentist here at Beacon Smiles Dental. I was born and raised in Edmonton, AB where I also completed my undergraduate degree in Biological and Physical Sciences. I moved out east to Boston, MA to complete my dental degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion, I moved back to Alberta and created a new home in Calgary with my husband. The most rewarding part of my day is when I am able to make the most anxious and hesitant patients, both young and old, feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental visits. In addition to standard stress management tactics, I also offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation options for your visits. In my spare time, I focus my time on working out and living a healthy lifestyle, and convincing my husband to do the same.
Our Calgary general dentists at Beacon Smiles are here to provide dental care services to patients, from kids to adults. We assist you and your family to make your dental goals happen. We help you stay proactive about caring for your dental health.
At Beacon Smiles Dental , we understand you may have dental anxieties or fears. We’re here to help you feel at ease. Sedation is recommended to patients for it offers several benefits. You no longer have to skip seeing your dentist. You need not sacrifice your oral health because of anxiety.
Going to the dentist doesn’t have to be a stressful experience. Dental anxiety can be overwhelming. For some, this debilitating fear can delay necessary treatment and result in poor dental health. Here at Beacon Smiles Dental, we want you to feel as relaxed as possible and provide several options for sedation. Oral and nitrous oxide sedation are effective ways to reduce that anxiety for most patients.
During orthodontic treatments, dental professionals look into your teeth, mouth, jaw, bite, and face. They also factor in your medical history. Your involvement is important too so you and your dentist could arrive at the best orthodontic solution for your needs.
Properly aligned teeth gives you more aesthetic satisfaction. You’re able to care for your mouth better, and reduce the risk of periodontal diseases.
Created in 1999 by Align Technology, Invisalign seeks to renew your confidence in your smile. Invisalign makes this possible with the help of smooth, safe, and comfortable plastic aligners.
These aligners use gentle pressure to move teeth into the right place. Aligners are custom-made for you to replace every two weeks. The process continues until you have achieved the results you want.
Myobrace is a no-braces orthodontic method to help straighten your teeth and jaws. Treatment addresses the poor oral habits that are the real source of crooked teeth.
This treatment uses a series of appliances which have the proven dual function of correcting bad habits that hinders dental development, while helping teeth into their natural position.
